Allesley’s young sporting stars come up to the sartorial mark - thanks to trio of city businesses
Young sporting stars at Allesley Primary will be able to represent their school with pride - thanks to Brian Holt.
Footballers, rounders players, cross country runners and members of the other school teams had been struggling, not athletically but stylistically, with their slightly rough round the edges kit when the estate agents and two fellow local businesses - swooped in to help out by providing them with three sets of shiny new strip.
Brian Holt senior valuer Adrian Abbott, whose sons Joshua and Samuel are at the school, explained: “The old kits were looking tired and worn and distinctly past their sell-by date. The sports teams do really well in their inter-school competitions and it was a shame they were let down by their kit. When the PTA said they needed sponsors for a new one we were delighted to help. We like to help out in the community, and supporting youngsters’ fitness and team skills seems an excellent way to do it.”
